The 3M™ SJ3542 Dual Lock™ Reclosable Fastener delivers a rigid, reclosable mechanical bond in a 1-inch wide, 150-foot roll format. Type 170 stem density produces a firm, audible engagement rated for hundreds of open-and-close cycles — a durable alternative to screws, rivets, or permanent adhesives wherever repeated access is required.
The rubber-based adhesive bonds to many plastics, powder-coated paints, and low surface energy surfaces, making this fastener practical for panel mounting, component attachment, retail display assembly, and industrial equipment enclosures. The black finish integrates cleanly into finished assemblies where concealed fastening is preferred.
Type 170 stem density mates with Type 250 or Type 400 Dual Lock™ strips but does not interlock with itself. The polypropylene substrate is rated for indoor use up to 120°F. Each case contains 2 rolls, yielding 300 total linear feet. Ships via parcel carrier.
