These 12 x 8 x 24" gusseted poly bags are constructed from 3 mil low-density polyethylene, delivering meaningfully greater puncture and tear resistance than standard 1 or 2 mil alternatives. Expandable side gussets and a fitted bottom allow the bag to conform to bulkier or irregularly shaped contents — a structural advantage that flat poly bags cannot provide at the same fill volume.
FDA and USDA compliance makes these bags suitable for food-contact applications in meat processing, produce packaging, bakery operations, and commercial food distribution. The 3 mil thickness also supports use in manufacturing and industrial environments where contents may have sharp edges or uneven surfaces that would compromise thinner film.
