This smooth polyester strapping is a direct performance alternative to Signode® 1822, delivering consistent tension retention across medium-to-heavy-duty bundling and unitizing applications. Wound on a 16 x 6" core, each coil measures 1/2" wide by 6,500 feet and weighs 51.72 lbs. Green coloring provides immediate visual identification on the floor or in storage.
Polyester strapping outperforms polypropylene in tension retention and serves as a rust-free substitute for steel strapping in warehouses, manufacturing facilities, distribution centers, and outdoor staging environments. UV resistance makes it well suited for loads that will be held or stored in direct sunlight for extended periods.
The smooth surface is compatible with serrated or sandpaper seals and works with standard polyester strapping tools — no specialty equipment required. At approximately 80% lighter than equivalent steel strapping, coils are significantly easier to handle and reposition. Sold as a single coil; ships via parcel carrier.
