This high-tensile steel strapping delivers the break resistance and rigidity required for securing loads that exceed the capacity of polyester or polypropylene alternatives. At 5/8" wide and .023" gauge, each 2,050-foot coil is painted and waxed with an oscillated wind, promoting consistent, snag-free feed through standard steel strapping tools and tensioners.
Typical applications include unitizing lumber, structural steel, dense palletized freight, and bundled pipe or bar stock. Industries such as steel service centers, building material distributors, heavy manufacturing plants, and commercial sawmills rely on this gauge and width combination where load shift during transit could cause strap failure with lighter materials.
