3M™ Scotch® Heavy-Duty Shipping Tape 3850 is a 3.1 mil crystal clear polypropylene carton sealing tape built for high-volume warehouse and fulfillment environments. Its crystal clear film keeps labels and printed box markings fully visible through the tape surface, making it a practical choice wherever box identification and barcode scanning matter at the point of seal.
This tape performs reliably in e-commerce order fulfillment, retail distribution, manufacturing line packaging, and general outbound shipping operations. The hot melt adhesive grips quickly to corrugated and kraft board surfaces, holding through the compression and vibration stress common in parcel transit.
