3M™ 9579 is a 9.0 mil double sided polyethylene film tape with a repositionable, removable adhesive system that allows one-piece removal from most surfaces. The hand-tearable film construction enables clean, tool-free application, and the 3-inch core is compatible with standard tape dispensing equipment.
This tape bonds to metals, plastics, glass, and coated or rough substrates, making it a practical choice for assembly, splicing, mounting, and bonding tasks in manufacturing, fabrication, sign and display, and general industrial environments where temporary or adjustable positioning is required.
The tape carries a 9.0 mil total thickness and performs within an application temperature range of 70°F to 100°F. Each case contains 24 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
