3M™ 976 Adhesive Transfer Tape is a 2.0 mil soft acrylic pressure-sensitive adhesive transfer tape supplied on a densified kraft paper liner wound on a 1" core. The reverse-wound configuration ensures clean, consistent dispensing and delivers strong initial adhesion to most plastics, coated papers, glossy board stocks, and smooth rigid surfaces.
The 976 formulation is well-suited for applications where standard adhesives underperform on glossy or coated substrates. Typical uses include assembling point-of-purchase displays, laminating coated folders and packaging components, attaching product inserts or samples, and bonding lightweight materials in manufacturing and converting operations.
Sold by the case of 48 rolls, each parcel-friendly and available for standard reorder quantities. Compatible dispensers are sold separately.
