The 5/8" Wide Neck Heavy-Duty Bag Taper with Trimmer is an all-steel bench-mountable tool built for sustained, high-volume poly bag sealing. The 5/8" throat capacity handles thicker bag necks that standard 3/8" tapers cannot seal, making it the appropriate choice wherever heavier-gauge poly bags are in regular use.
This taper suits production lines, fulfillment centers, food packaging operations, manufacturing facilities, and retail distribution environments where speed and repeatability at the bag station matter. Twist the bag neck closed, draw it through the slot, and the integrated trimmer cuts excess material in the same pass — eliminating a separate trimming step from every cycle.
The unit is constructed entirely of steel and includes pre-drilled mounting holes for fixed workstation or conveyor-line installation. It accepts both 5/8" bag tape and the full line of 3/8" bag tape. Replacement tape cutting blades and replacement bag trimming blades are each available separately.
